Fees

Orange Gateway ehf uses a maker-taker fee model to determine trading fees. Various fees apply to orders that provide liquidity (maker orders) and to orders that take liquidity (taker orders). We calculate the fees based on tier pricing the customer is in at the time of your order execution. Trading volume is calculated in USD based on 30-day trading volume and is updated on a hourly basis, based on the exchange rate at the time.

Placing an order that is filled instantly or partially filled instantly at the market price makes you a taker on the market and taker fees apply. Placing an order which is not filled instantly and is posted to the order book is a maker order and maker fees apply.
